Join the Columbia Citadel Club for our Annual Muster on Thursday,  March 27th, (5:30-8:00pm) at the legendary Seawells in Columbia. Muster is a special event when we gather to pause and remember those from the Long Gray Line that left us during the previous year.  Each member that has passed will have his/her name read aloud, and a member of our group will report for duty in their absence. Please plan to join us for a special evening of Cid fellowship and reverence. 

We will be joined by Jim Lechner '89 to give a presentation on his book With My Shield -- An Army Ranger in Somalia. This is the inside story of an Army Ranger, surrounded and outnumbered, fighting a desperate action on the ground during the Black Hawk Down raid in Somalia in 1993. Jim is a 1989 graduate of The Citadel and served in the US Army for 27 years. He participated in eight operational deployments, including Somalia with Task Force Ranger, as well as the Sinai, Bosnia, Iraq, and Afghanistan. 

Admission will include Seawells famous buffet dinner. There will be a cash bar for adult beverages. All grads, spouses, +1s, family and friends are welcome to join!  This will be a very special evening that you won't want to miss.
